    The Old Forge Chagford Cafe was recommended by a shop keeper in the village, described as an award winning cream tea, and it certainly was.... All local produce, homemade, with individual touches, makes this
    A cut above the best and the rest. Try it for yourself.... You won't be disappointed, and if it's a cold day, get there early and grab the comfy chairs by the old forge fire!!!

    Have been here a couple of times and it is truly one of the best places to eat - we went to Rick Steins today and it was nothing on the quality at the Old Forge...we will be back. Their triple cooked chips are wonderful
